All of the Pet Bandans from Alexandra Gray Collection feature snaps instead of a fabric you can tie, this is because there are 6 different sizes of bandanas - XS to 2XL - to choose from that will (hopefully) fit your pet.
These snaps are strong and durable, but have some give incase your pet gets caught on something (like a fence). With ties, you have to hope the bandana is loose enough the pet can get free from the bandana.
As a dog mom myself, I find that ties encourage wrinkles and leave extra tattered fabric at the tie ends. The snaps, however, make the ends of the bandana lay flat and keep the intrgrity and shape of the bandana and also helps with storage.
